Sodding Buster Turf Farm

Just got off the phone with sod busters chewing me out about common courtesy. I called them a few days back asking about their sod price. They quoted me .55 a SF for 500 SF total. She then stated (when I was originally talking to them) they had an order coming in Friday and that they would call me. I told them I wasn’t committed to them and at that price was going to look around. Today I got 5-6 calls interrupting my business day. I finally called backed and got chewed out about “common courtesy”. It’s a common courtesy to not over quote - then assume a sale when I specifically told them originally I wasn’t committed and was going to look around. I did - got some from Brigham city for .32 Sf DELIVERED, and it’s installed and looks great. I will never refer this business. And I never write reviews.. too bad it’s a nasty one.

Sod busters is a local, family owned business, and we love all of their products! They sell small quantities of sod, which is perfect for when we need to do yearly repairs or small areas in our yard. They also have great soils for our raised box gardens.. plus, they deliver! I recommend sod busters to all my friends and family! Not only is it a great company, but it's great that we get to support our local businesses.

I recently had my landscaper get my Sod from Sodbuster , as the quality is better than any other we have tried. I would rather pay a small amount extra for top grade sod, than have my landscaper put down cheap, bad looking, Sod, which in the long run will cost more when you have to replace it!! So when I hear a landscaper complain about the price of a Sod Farm price it worry's me. I would differently think twice before I would hire him!! We all know as a homeowner we want our yards to look good, so make sure your landscaper is not getting secondhand product and then charging you for premium price.. I recommend Sod Busters, my grass is beautiful...

I did read all the reviews before my recent visit and I couldn't have had a better experience. I found the office staff very helpful and friendly. The prices seemed fair for the convinence and knowledge they had about there products. I did call ahead and order what I needed and pay for it that way I had a guarantee that what I wanted would be there and that I would be there to get. I am not a professional so I was not interested in a bulk discount just friendly helpful service. And that is exactly what I got. Thanks Sod Buster's I will definitely tell everyone I know to come see you : )

55 cents a foot for sod and 50$ for a yard of top soil? I hope it comes laced with gold at that price. When asked if given a bulk discount for landscape contractors I wasn't given a time of day. I will be referring any business to any company other than sod busters. I recommend using bull dog sod out of Layton and recycled earth in Ogden if you are looking for any landscape materials at a reasonably priced rate.
